We began in 1999 with a dream to design and build homes from the ground up. In 2012 we realized that there were families that wanted to renovate their existing houses into their dream homes and those that needed maintenance services, including roofing, remodeling and insurance claim work.  And that was when we began a new company to provide those families with the right help, so that they could afford to make something truly their own.  The Homestar Group’s mission is a commitment to creating high quality and affordable renovations as well as new homes over the country for people to have what they want, right where they already live.  Over the years, we have taken the promise of affordable and innovative home building, renovations and repairs, completed with quality construction, and become a “do it all” contractor.

Renovation

When an individual, business, or institution contacts The Homestar Group in need of a renovation you will not need to wait days or weeks to have your property examined.

Maintenance

Upon arrival, the maintenance professional will ask questions about the needs of the property, tenants, and owners to ensure we satisfy all parties with subsequent services.

Insurance Claims

Your priority must be to get the damage fixed and get back into your home. When you work with The Homestar Group, your stress levels will go down as your home is put back together again.

Our Management Team

Jodi York

Accounting and HR Manager

Jodi York is the Accounting and Human Resources Manager for The Homestar Group. Jodi works closely with the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments to ensure timely processing of payments going out and coming in. She also performs the duties pertaining to payroll and all employee benefits programs. 

Jodi has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry working with home buyers, home owners, tenants, mortgage companies, realtors, banks, closing attorneys, subcontractors, project managers, and most recently, insurance adjusters. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and a variety of outdoor activities such as golf, kayaking, hiking, and photography.

Donald Tibble

Operations Manager Mitigation Division

Donald Tibble is the Operations Manager over the Mitigation Division. Donald oversees all of the water damage, fire loss, asbestos work, pack-outs, and content cleaning. He works with homeowners and insurance companies to help make the process go smoothly for all involved.

Donald has 20 years of experience in restoration, currently holds multiple IICRC Certifications, and is working to become a Master Restorer with the IICRC. He loves playing golf in his spare time and spending time with his lovely wife and children.

Brittany Daniel

Area Mitigation/ Packout Manager

Brittany Daniel is the Area Mitigation manager; as well as Pack Out Manager for the contents division. Brittany works closely with homeowners and the insurance companies to ensure the process goes smooth from start to finish.

Brittany has 13 years of experience in the restoration industry and holds several IICRC certifications. She enjoys spending time with her family, as most of her spare time is spent watching her children play sports, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

Melanie Callahan

Compliance Manager

Melanie is the Compliance Manager for the Homestar Group. Melanie works with our construction team keeping the jobs in line, and making sure the jobs stay on task and in budget. She also works with the third parties, ie, Alacrity and Innovation Group, to make sure we are within their strict standards.

Melanie has over 10 years working in the construction industry, working with homeowners to everything including temporary repairs, mitigation, reconstruction, and accounting. She is recently married, and enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys, volunteering, visiting the beach, going to parks, trying new foods, sports, and enjoying her new home life.
